Keen adds stiffer soles to their popular sandals for the ultimate in walking-friendly pedal power. The soles accept cleats so these sweet sandals are ready for use with platform and clipless pedals. And, Keen's "metatomical" footbeds provide excellent support and comfort, while the non-marking, grippy rubber soles are ideal for strolling through bistros or the backwoods. Socks are optional as the open, mesh uppers are lined with soft rubber. Of course, you get Keen's great toe protection, reflective pull loops and quick-cinching elastic laces, too, for an awesome fit.
In order to mount your pedals' cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns. There are 3 configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD.
